To qualify for this course, delegates must hold a valid UKATA Asbestos Awareness (Cat A) certificate passed within the last 6 months. This is a legal requirement of UKATA. Your valid certificate must be provided ahead of the course to guarantee your place. If delegates do not have this, please check out our next available Asbestos Awareness training dates.
This course provides an overview of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Regulation 4 - the duty to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises.
It is suitable for any person requiring an overview of the duty to manage and legislative requirements. This usually includes, but is not limited to:

Sub-lessors

Managing agents etc. as well as any person assisting duty holders in the compliance with CAR 2012 regulation 4
Delegate numbers are limited by UKATA to 15 people per course to maximise learning.

employed on projects to redevelop
brownfield sites and or sites that have
previously been occupied by industrial
buildings that have been demolished,
where their work will disturb the soils and
